Linked reels
Before a spin evaluates, two or more adjacent reels are forced to show identical symbols in identical positions, so a single reel becomes a linked twin, triplet, quadruplet or quintuplet block. Which reels link is randomised each spin; the symbols themselves are drawn normally, so no new symbol or value is introduced.

What it does to your session
Written once for this mechanic, not per title.
Raises the odds of a matching run across the linked block without changing the underlying symbol mix, so variance concentrates in how many reels link on a given spin rather than in the paytable itself.

Twin Reel Feature · Reel Sync · Synced Reels
These resolve to this one entry. A studio’s trademark for a mechanic does not create a second mechanic, which is why a search for any of these names lands here.
Titles with this mechanic
The ones built around it first, then the rest.
Others in reel modifier
Grouped rather than listed flat, because a wall of feature names is not a filter.
What we do not have yet
Listed rather than hidden, so you can see the shape of what is missing.
How often it triggers
No studio here publishes a trigger frequency for this feature, so we hold none to print.
